Shunji@West LA★★★

The Ultimate Place for Omakase in LA. Elegant authentic presentation. Love their appetizers. The Omakase is about $120-$150, depending on what you order. Japanese Style Tasting is $100. Sushi Plate was $50. We ordered the Omakase (everyone in the table has to order the same thing), and it turned out to be $123.25 per person for the food. Got a little something from the house for the birthday girl in our table. Service was great. Pleasant and delightful experience.

The Bazaar@Beverly Hills ★★★

Service is Really Slow for dineLA! Yes, making reservation for dineLA@The Bazaar is overwhelming. Have to reserve weeks or months ahead, but the food is fantastic. The "Magic Mojito" is fun. It came in a glass with cotton candy that "disappeared" after the waiter poured mojito in it. It's expensive, but good that the alcohol is on the stronger side. Everything was super great, except for the Sautéed Shrimp. The shrimp was mediocre. The dishes were a bit of a wait. dineLA is $45 per person, and you will leave hungry.

Sushi Ichi@Pasadena ★★

A Decent Sushi Restaurant in Pasadena. We had the Omakase for about $60 (price varies). Reservation recommended. I like the Sea Bream and Amberjack a lot. Don't care for the Sweet Shrimp. The salmon was not fatty enough. You will get a much better experience sitting at the sushi bar if you are ordering omakase.

Hamptons@Manhattan Beach ★★★

Delicious Seafood by the Beach Area. Went here w/ a Groupon. The beer flight is such a steal, you can to taste 4 beers for only $8. I had the waitress pick some nice & sweet ones for me. They turned out really good. For the Amagansett Lobster Roll, you get to pick to have it served hot (butter) or cold (mayo). I had it cold, but I think served hot will be much better than cold. Well, next time!

Ikemen@Hollywood ★★★

Authentic Dipping Ramen. A sushi chef recommended this ramen place to me. Their Ghost Buster Dip Ramen was pretty fun. The waiter takes a marshmallow, sears it in front of you, then put it into your ramen soup. You can add Onsen Tamago for $1.

Tonkotsu Ramen w/ Pork $13 (add Cherry Tomatoes +$3)
