Cheng Can Cook: Malabar Spinach ★★★

Malabar Spinach (潺菜) is SLIMY, my favorite veggie. My first time to stir-fry veggie. It is mucilaginous, so if you like the sliminess of yamaimo, tororo, or okra, you will like this veggie. Malabr Spinach can be bought at few Chinese Supermarkets like Cali Food Market in Alhambra. Self-invented recipe below.

Recipe:
Malabar Spinach (Mồng Tơi), Rinsed
Oil
Garlic, Chopped or Sliced
Salt
Chili Oil

1. Heat up a tablespoon of oil in large frying pan. Add garlic and cook for a while.
2. Add in Malabar Spinach, cook till soft. Add salt and chili oil to taste while cooking.

@No. 4 is No. 1: Thanks! This kind of slimy spinach is very rare and is very hard to find.
