Soba Lunch Pop-up on Sundays. Amazing fresh handmade soba. Kazu-san cooking with owner Yamato-san (owner of Sushi Yamamoto, Sushi Kisen, Tonchinkan, etc.). Yamato-san is very friendly & hospitable. Amazing Izakaya Restaurant in Santa Ana. Specializes in Yakitori, Ramen, and Fifth Taste Sake. Reasonable price. Great place to dine around Disneyland area. Love the free Edamame (can choose truffle oil) upon Yelp check-in, some vegetables and pairs well w/ sake. Green tea $2.50. Free limited parking in lot.

 Good Deal for Early Lunch Special. They call it the Early Supper Menu that serves from 11am - 4pm daily. $24.95 for 3 course that includes Soup or Salad w/ Garlic Bread, Entrée, Dessert, and a glass of wine. I had a glass of Chianti. For entrée, I ordered Pesto Fettuccine from dinner menu for extra charge and also added Scallops for extra charge. Love the Housemade Pesto Sauce. The Scallops were just ok. Chicken would probably be better.

High-End Japanese Steakhouse by Tamaen. Specializes in steak. Great variety of amazing steak with different kinds of sauces to choose from. Bone Marrow was great. Their Cotton Candy A5 Wagyu is like a sweet version of Sukiyaki so it'd be great with a bowl of rice. Corkage $35. Reservations via OpenTable. Free parking in lot.

Amazing Authentic Izakaya in San Gabriel Valley. New favorite. High quality. Omakase Chef's Choice of 4 mini appetizer sampler for $15 was a good deal. Same owner as Sushi Yamamoto & Sushi Kisen. Hot tea $3. Corkage not on menu $25/bottle (smaller than 750mL) or $50/bottle (larger than 750mL). Very popular restaurant. Reservations strongly recommended. Free limited parking in lot.

Favorite Sushi Restaurant. Yusuke-san seeks perfection and constantly makes updates on his menu seasonally. Incredible service and personal attention to detail from Yusuke-san. The Taka Tuna they get is exclusive for them from Japan. Wine & Sake Pairing $235. Corkage fee $150. Bottled water $9 (filtered tap water not available). Reservations via Tock.
