炭火焼鳥 そかろ Sumibiyakitori Zocalo@Tokyo Bunkyo-ku ★★★

Amazing Yakitori with Fresh Chicken. I original knew Yakitori Chef Tomoyuki-san because he's the opening chef at Kidori in LA. He's kind. So happy to be able to try his original restaurant in Tokyo. I had the whole restaurant to myself because he let me book late reservation after Disneyland. Omakase 7 set 5,280 yen. 660 yen table charge. Kuheiji sake available. Reservations required & can be made on Tabelog or DM.

Yakitori at Kabukicho Red Light District in Shinjuku. Mandatory Otoshi required. Marinated Wasabi Yamaimo was nice. Color of Negitoro Roll was too light, but taste was ok. Most dishes & drinks 390 yen.
