Amazing Izakaya Restaurant in Santa Ana. Specializes in Yakitori, Ramen, and Fifth Taste Sake. Fresh Oysters. Reasonable price. Finally get to try the new limited edition Akabu Kohaku. Ryo-san is amazing. He's a dedicated Yakitori Chef. Great place to dine around Disneyland area. Free Edamame (can choose truffle oil if available) or cold tea upon Yelp check-in. Free limited parking in lot.

Gokumi x Heiwa Sake Event@Santa Ana ★★★

Amazing Heiwa Sake Event. Features most Heiwa sake from $5/glass. Heiwa Kid Winter Shiboritate Seasonal Sake was great. Fantastic with Yakitori. Reasonable price. Thrilled to see Heiwa Shuzo team from Japan there. Got the pleasure to meet Yamamoto-san, President of Heiwa, again. Yakitori Chef Ryo-san is amazing and very dedicated. Great place to dine around Disneyland area. Free Edamame (can choose truffle oil if available) upon Yelp check-in. Great to balance the meat with vegetables. Complimentary hot tea. Long-Standing Cozy Japanese Restaurant since My College Time. Good food and reasonable pricing. Features Chicken Wings & Yakitori. Okra is always my favorite. Ishikari Nabe is always great with the tasty soup base, especially in the cold winter. Unagi is probably from China and had too much sauce on top. Walk-in ok. Will come back again. Sapporo pitcher $18.50 (good deal). Hot tea is complimentary. Limited free parking in rear.

Torimatsu@Gardena ★★★

Best Yakitori in Town. Sasami Ponzu (Raw Chicken Breast) is not to be missed. Loved the Stuffed Lotus Root. Highly recommend pairing Yakitori w/ Beer. Soboro (Grated Chicken) Rice is nice to end the meal with. Their fruit sorbet is stuffed inside the fruit. Super cute. Great pricing. Quick & nice service on weekday early evening. The bill came out to be $116.25 + tax. Counter has the best seating. Located right next to Sushi Sonagi. Free parking in lot. I go to Torimatsu, Torihei, Koshiji, and Shin-Sen-Gumi for Yakitori in the area.
