Surprising!! I was wondering what to eat when going on the train from Frankfurt to Dusseldorf. Airport food isn't good and I was told that there would be no cafes/bakeries around teh train station there or Koln...so this gives me hope!

Hi Erin, Glad that it helps :) yes the food on the train there is pretty decent. you just need to reserve your seats when you get in.

:) Sounds good!
Was my assumption correct? Is that my best lunch option between the airport, a quick stop around the Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Fernbf train station, and during a stopover in either Mainz/Koln?

I am not very familiar with the cities.. but I guess if you see a decent restaurant at the airport, it won't hurt to give it a try. they have a lot of decent fast food restaurants at the train/ subway stations too
