Favorite Cantonese Comfort Food. I don't usually eat Chinese food, but Nice China Cafe is my go-to spot. You can enjoy Roasted Duck cooked 2 ways - Roasted and Peking style. Love everything including Eggplant, Lobster, and Roasted Duck. Because the shrimp crackers got really soggy from having the Duck Skin on top last time, we learned out lesson and took out all the shrimp crackers on a separate plate as soon as the dish arrived. (We did not ask them to separate themselves because of presentation purposes.) Almost all dishes below are special order and will need to call-in to order few days in advance. Rice seems to be complimentary. Love the BYOB. Call to make reservation. Tea is free. Free parking in lot.

Great Japanese Comfort Food with Handmade Udon & Soba. Cold Tororo (grated Japanese mountain yam) Soba is my all-time favorite. Udon is Inaniwa style. It's great. $9 Tempura Side is a great deal and is delicious. Their Chicken Teriyaki is great. It's moist, tender, fatty, and fantastic this time, but it's not consistent every time. Server Maki has great service. Toshimi is nice too. Call-in reservations recommended, even if it's same day. Free parking in lot.

Great Cantonese Comfort Food in Torrance. Hidden gem. Just as its name, it's Nice. Roasted Duck as a whole is $30.95, but for $6 more, you can enjoy the duck cooked 2 ways - Roasted and Peking style. It's worth it. Just the shrimp chips got soggy from having the Duck Skin on top. If you want specific dishes such as Signature Pork Rib Served in a Pumpkin, Roasted Duck, Lobster, Steamed Fish, or the amazing Almond Tang Yuan Dessert, you will need to call-in to order in advance. Not sure why Almond Tang Yuan was $14.50 last time and $20 this time? Maybe they raised the price. BYOB. Call to make reservation.
