Kiwami Sushi & Ramen@Huntington Beach ★★★

Master Sushi Chef Susumu Ii. Ii-san was previously at his restaurant sushi ii in Newport Beach, now working at Kiwami for the time being (before he works at another new restaurant). He's always nice & friendly. He introduced me to the new manager at the restaurant, Akira-san. Great pricing with $68 12 pcs sushi. Sushi was great. Oysters were not fresh that day. They were out of Sweet Shrimp when I went. Join Kiwami rewards program on their website for 10% cashback. Spotted a picture I took on their wall. Good sake pricing. Complimentary hot tea. Free parking in lot.

Omakase with Good Pricing. Fresh live Botan Ebi was nice with big fried shrimp head with lots of ebi miso (or cook with miso soup option). Thick cut sashimi but a bit watery. Used to be Japanese-owned and now Korean-owned. Nice & friendly chefs. 13-piece Omakase $120 (price varies). Limit 1.5 hours seating. Free parking in lot. Reservations available on Yelp.
