Miyabi Uni@Torrance ★★

Uni Specialty Restaurant. I liked all my favorite seafood in that Uni, Scallop, Salmon & Salmon Roe Donburi, but the Uni in my Donburi happened to be bitter this time. Having Uni is like lottery. Some of them will be bitter. Not busy on Sunday night. Yelp reservations available. Free parking in smelly underground lot. Street parking would be preferable if available.

Came to try Creamy Uni Udon. Comes with a bowl of rice to eat with the rich sauce. Fresh sashimi. Corkage fee $30 for 720mL (not on their list). Free parking in lot.

Exciting Uni Fare@Chaya. A la carte uni menu for a limited time March 10 - March 31. Live Uni Sashimi was the best must-try item from the menu. Tasting it with Dashi Jelly instead of soy sauce brought it to another level of enjoyment.
