Great Kaiseki Meal, Great Company. Grand opening day. Like Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories (深夜食堂) in real life. Everyone at the sushi bar became friends after the 3-hour course meal. Courses are Yawaragi $130, Irodori $160, and Mai $190 per person. Food similar to Wadatsumi Beverly Hills [closed]. Chill vibe simiar to Yamakase. Green tea and Matcha tea are free. Limited metered street parking.

sawa x Heiwa Muryozan & KID@Little Tokyo ★★★

Now we are talking (literally). Mind blown. Superb quality. Just our 3rd time here, but we are starting to be regulars and experiencing exceptional service. Totally chill & fun. So thrilled to have the rare opportunity to have both fantastic sushi chefs Ryo-san and Anthony-san present. You get the best of both worlds. You can order extra if you really need to. Special collaboration event presented by Shota-san from Fifth Taste with Heiwa Muryozan & KID champion sake pairing. I like 無量山 Muryozan Junmai Ginjo and Junmai Ginjo Shiboritate. You can't go wrong with Muryozan. Shiboritate was just received 2 days ago. It's unpasteurized and fruity. Natalia the bartender is amazing. I always let her choose the cocktails for me. After this night, we are ok with replacing our beloved favorite Wadatsumi with sawa. sawa might potentially surpass Wadatsumi's special place in our hearts soon.
