n/naka@Palms Los Angeles ★★★

2 Michelin Stars Modern Kaiskei. Hands down Favorite. First time returning since its remodeling in May. Love everything from exquisite presentation to well-balanced food to personal service, from start to finish. It's extra fun to go with real foodie friends. The meal itself is a progressive philosophic journey. They value holistic customer experience rather anything else. Absolutely love Chef Niki Nakyama. Very humble and friendly. Her Zensai Course presentation is always beautiful and surprising every time. Abalone Pasta is her signature dish, perfect pairing with a rich & sophisticated sake. Devin is an exceptional sommelier and always provides us with above & beyond service. He does excellent sake pairing. We had exclusive Nichi Nichi Tamasakae Sake from Kyoto recommended by Devin, which was fantastic. 3.5 hours dinner. Course $365 per person. Limited free street parking or valet. Reservations on Tock and are very hard to book.
