Kura x Kimetsu No Yaiba Collaboration@Sawtelle ★★★

Fun at the Revolving Sushi Bar: Round 4. Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) x Kura special collaboration. Set of 10 capsules to collect with $3.55 each. All plates $3.55. Sushi quality won't be consistent, but it's surprisingly good this time. Sawtelle location has better quality later in the night (after 8) vs. earlier in the evening. Tuna Zuke Sushi is always my favorite, but sometimes it came out pretty bad. This time was perfect. Hot green tea $3.80. Download their app and to wait in the virtual queue. Free 1 hour validated parking at lot.

sawa Spring Sake Night@Little Tokyo ★★★

4th Amazing Omakase Sake Pairing Event by Fifth Taste. We went to all 4 of them. Fun event with premium sake pairing. Special collaboration event presented by Shota-san from Fifth Taste with various sake pairing from KID, Kuheiji, Ohmine, Sharaku, Nabeshima, and Noguchi. Sushi Chef Ryo-san is great. Natalia the bartender is amazing. Omakase $185 + $150 for sake pairing at event. Great deal for premium sake. Parking structure $6 or metered street parking.

1. KID Spring Breeze – kombu nose, fruity lychee flavor, refreshing
2. Rose KID – made from red rice, not much nose, cherry medicine flavor with strawberry finish
3. 九平次 Kuheiji Tako – Carbonated with Champagne cork, refreshing, umami, floral perfume, and mango nose, pure, thick, & high acid finish
4. Ohmine 2 Grain – diluted, fruity, lychee nose, melon finish
