Cheng Can Cook: Eggplant in Buttermilk Sauce ★★

Recipe from the book "Plenty: Vibrant Recipes from London's Ottolenghi". Since this is my first time making it, I would modify the recipe a bit by skipping the Greek yogurt and put less Buttermilk Sauce in the Eggplants. Other than that, this is a very visually inviting dish.

Cheng Can Cook: Cold Inaniwa Udon with Uni ★★★

Inaniwa Udon is the Highest-End of Udon. I made it with Yamakake this time, but it is so soft that you don't need Yamakake to accompany it. Yamakake (Grated Mountain Yam) is great for Soba.

Cheng Can Cook: Negitoro Don

You Get What You Pay for. OK I was being cheap. I bought the $4.00 tuna pieces from Woori Market and thought it will taste the same as the $8.00, but I was wrong. It didn't taste good. Next time when you make Negitoro Don, be sure to buy the good grade tuna. Lesson learned.

Garlic, Chopped or Sliced
Salt
Chili Oil

1. Heat up a tablespoon of oil in large frying pan. Add garlic and cook for a while.
2. Add in Malabar Spinach, cook till soft. Add salt and chili oil to taste while cooking.

Cheng Can Cook: Uni Spaghetti ★★★

Got it. Finally got it. After going to Blue Marlin for their Uni Spaghetti for 20+ times, I have figured out their recipe in my head and finally executed it tonight. I was debating with myself whether I should put my cooking on my food blog. Well, I am a foodie after all. My foodie passion goes beyond eating - I like to experiment and cook too. Got the box of uni from Woori Korean Market@Little Tokyo. They have uni specials for $4.99 a box today. (regular $6.99) Great deal.
