Noma LA 2026@Silver Lake ★★★

Best Restaurant in the World. A Daring & Adventurous Journey. Experimental test kitchen with local & Danish flavors. Los Angeles stop. Beautiful presentations. While bear paws & reindeer are not being served in LA, ants, bugs, cactus & fish eyes are being served. It's not for everyone – only for the daring ones. A lot of ocean & earthy flavors. Love the flavorful Pink Peppercorn Dungeness Crab on the raw side. Quite a "hands-on" experience. Our server, Maria, was nice. Held at a beautiful scenic Airbnb in Silver Lake, which might be converted into a boutique hotel. It's worth it considering that you don't need to purchase air tickets to Copenhagen for the exclusive experience. $1,500 per person with wine pairing (or non-alcoholic pairing), tax & tips included. Wine pairing was moderate with small refills. Reservations was impossible in the beginning but may become available occasionally via Tock. Noma LA March 11 - June 26, 2026 only. Valet or street parking. 2 protestors at entrance.

Mind-Blowing. Full on surprises. Seasonal & new dishes. Chef Daniel Son (Katsu Sando) in the works with his test kitchen. Love the Gangjang Gejang (Soy Fermented Flower Crab) with Uni Sauce. Lovely combination of Dungeness Crab & Sakura Ebi Dolsot Bap (Stone Pot Rice) with refills available. Tasty crispy rice (okoge) on the bottom of the stone pot. Michelin Guide restaurant. POV Husband also came around the same time. $250 per person. Perfect portions. 8 seats per seating with 2 seating available. Only opens 3 times a week. Reservations via Tock and is always sold out. Green tea is complimentary. Corkage $45 for 720mL bottle. Right next to Torimatsu. Free parking in strip mall.
